Faydally is a listening platform for qasāʾid, dhikr, teaching series and live majālis. This page describes what the service stores and why.

What we collect

With an account: your name, email address and password (stored hashed); and the things you do on Faydally — likes, saves, follows, playlists, listening history and resume positions — so they follow you across devices.

As a guest: an anonymous device identifier, used to meter the free daily listening quota. It is not linked to your identity.

On your device: preferences, playback progress, downloads and your session token. Clearing app or site data removes them.

Playback and analytics

Play counts and listening events are recorded to power charts, recommendations and creator statistics. They are tied to your account when you are signed in, and to the anonymous identifier otherwise. We keep the country your listening came from — nothing finer.

Advertising

Free listening is supported by advertising. Ads may be served by Faydally or by third-party networks including Google AdSense and AdMob. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Pass holders, and listeners inside an earned ad-free window, are not shown ads.

Rights claims

If you claim a catalogue, we keep what you tell us about your relationship to the work, your contact details, and a note of any document a reviewer was shown — its type, issuer and reference. We do not keep copies of the documents themselves. Claim records are retained because they are the record of a decision about somebody's work.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not read your email or contacts. We do not track you across other apps or sites.

Your choices

You can use Faydally without an account. Signing out clears your library from the device. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside any Faydally app, under Profile → Delete account — see deleting your account for what happens and how long it takes.
